Berkline Furniture

Recliners, like cars, have gone from manual to automatic when reclining – as with most Benchcraft furniture. Previously, you have to pull a lever then lean back and the recliner will lock in two or three places of your choice. There are also some with buttons instead of the handle that you can simply push and then lean to set its position.

Berkline furniture are now automatic and do all the work for you with the use of an electric motor with a cord that plugs into a wall socket. the PowerRecline feature allows you to recline effortlessly and can be stopped at any position, while the TouchMotion option offers the ease of reclining at an infinite number of positions by a single touch.

The use of electricity has allowed for other Berkline locomotion aside from just reclining. There are other relaxing motions that come with different Berkline recliners. The Rock-a-Lounger design feature allows you to rock or recline while the Swivel-Glider offers a gentle back-and-forth motion and the swivel allows you to adjust the chair in a 360 degree manner.

Some Berkline recliners also have the Whisper Massage feature that lets the user experience the ultimate in relaxation as well as therapeutic heat.
